About

ZuKas is a Zuzalu-affiliated popup village held in Kaş, Turkey, a small Mediterranean town on the Lycian coast near the ancient site of Patara, one of the earliest known democratic confederacies. Inspired by Vitalik Buterin's original Zuzalu experiment in co-living and co-creation, ZuKas grounds that model in local historical context, running as a multi-week residency that brings together builders, governance researchers, and digital nomads to explore Web3 tools, participatory governance, and cosmolocalism.

The community is oriented toward people experimenting with decentralized coordination and pluralistic governance models, with a 2026 edition planned under the tagline "Ancient Roots, Future Protocols."

Live with builders from around the world. Learn, burn, earn and have fun.
