VDAO is a community incubated by 5th World, co-led by Marc Ziade and Kris Miller, building toward decentralized, antifragile, and regenerative network states: a network of interconnected self-reliant communities with self-custody over food, water, energy, shelter, digital assets, and data. Subscribing to Vitalik Buterin's d/acc thesis, it aims to create High Tech, High Touch, High Nature pop-up experiences where technology, nature, and community converge, and to develop open-source digital and physical infrastructure that mimics natural regenerative systems.

Members work collectively to shift away from extractive linear economies toward a new paradigm of decentralized coordination and positive-externality growth.
