Shanhaiwoo is a Chinese-led network community that takes its name from the mythological Shan Hai Jing, blending ancient symbolism with a modern vision of intentional living. Members co-create their community norms and physical spaces, treating the community itself as a living artwork.

It has hosted pop-up residencies in Asia, with an emphasis on philosophy, cultural exchange, and building a shared imaginary for what future society could look like.
