RNS.ID is the official technology provider for the Republic of Palau's Digital Residency Program, making it the world's first sovereign-backed blockchain-native digital identity platform. Created through the Digital Residency Act signed by Palau's President, it allows citizens from 138 countries to apply for digital residency for $48 per year, receiving both a physical government-issued ID and a blockchain NFT.

As of mid-2024, RNS.ID had issued over 19,000 digital residencies used for hotel check-ins, flight boarding, crypto exchange KYC, and bank account applications.
