About
Montelibero is a libertarian and anarcho-capitalist community established in 2021 near the port city of Bar on Montenegro's Adriatic coast, founded by Ukrainian and Russian agorists. As of early 2024, over 250 members live in Montenegro full-time, with the community's flagship development being MTL City, a startup town planned near Bar.
The community uses its own cryptocurrency EURMTL for internal transactions and has become one of the most active real-world libertarian community experiments in Europe.
