    Culdesac is established by Ryan Johnson and Jeff Berens to develop car-free walkable neighborhoods in the US.

  2. Groundbreaking

    Construction begins on Culdesac Tempe, the first project on a 17-acre infill site in Tempe, Arizona.

    Phase one opens and initial residents move into the car-free community.

  4. Community Expansion

    Culdesac Tempe reaches over 350 residents and 23 local businesses with additional buildings, mature landscaping, and full amenities operational.
