Cryptocity is a project building a community of entrepreneurs using blockchain technology on Margarita Island, Venezuela. The project has expanded from its initial 13-hectare plan to 35 hectares, accommodating nearly 300 plots for around 1,000 residents.

Residents are selected through a process designed to ensure alignment with the community's values of innovation and entrepreneurial collaboration. The community is organized through a DAO that enables residents to participate in governance, pool resources for joint investments, and fund innovative projects.

Margarita Island's location in the Caribbean, existing infrastructure, and Venezuela's economic situation create both opportunities and challenges for the project.
