QuarkID is a decentralized identity protocol developed in Argentina, built on the zkSync blockchain and designed to give individuals self-sovereign control over their digital credentials. It has been adopted by the Buenos Aires city government as the foundation for its digital identity infrastructure, making it one of the first government-backed deployments of a blockchain-based self-sovereign identity system at city scale.

QuarkID uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable selective disclosure of credentials.
