We're experimenting with a new merit scholarship that's open to anyone. Just take a practice exam online, fly out, and then take a proctored exam in person. If you do well, we'll get you a tech job or train you for free.

Here’s how it works.

I. Take a practice test online

You'll take a short online exam to assess your personality, reasoning ability, and basic mathematical and programming knowledge. There's no point in using AI, because the follow-up exam is completely offline and administered in-person at Network School.

II. Visit Network School

If you do well on the practice test, the next step is to travel to Network School. Our first node is located on a Malaysian island right off the coast of Singapore. It's accessible to most of the world's population within a short flight. If you have financial hardship, we may be able to cover your travel. Once you get here, your stay is free, and we'll help with all logistics after you pass the practice test.

III. Take an in-person test

After arriving at Network School, you'll take an offline exam on essentially the same material as the online practice exam, but with pencil and paper. We'll also give you a proctored programming test to gauge your knowledge of tech skills. You can pass with flying colors by demonstrating technical knowledge, or you can pass in a conditional way by demonstrating raw ability.

IV. If you pass with flying colors,
we'll get you a job

If you demonstrate technical knowledge on the proctored in-person test, we may hire you directly for Network School or we may place you at one of our partner companies. We want to scale up gradually with first ten and then one hundred placements, and then go from there.

V. If you show raw talent, we'll train you if you put in the work

The other possible outcome of the proctored in-person test is that you demonstrate raw ability without domain knowledge. In this case, you can live at Network School on scholarship for free while filling gaps in your knowledge. You'll do guided self-study, hang out with other members, and take a proctored exam at the end of each month. With sufficient improvement, we'll get you a job.
